As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I view therapy as a deeply personal and transformational process that promotes growth, regardless of where you are in life; whether in a crisis, have a relationship issue, curious on who you are, or suffer from destructive patterns. I earned my bachelors degree at Cal Poly in 2011 and earned my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2014 at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. I began my career working with addiction at Meharry Medical College in North Nashville, Tennessee. I was working at the recovery center where my patients were presenting with a substance use disorder(s) and mental health disorder(s). I was promoted from Intensive Outpatient Therapist to the Female Residential Therapist. During my few years there, I was awarded with ‘Exemplary and Compassionate Client Care’ award from the Clinical Director. After an incredible experience working at Meharry, I then began working in high schools and middle schools to get experience working with teenagers and become immersed in the military culture. I became a contractor with the U.S. Military working as a Military Family Life Counselor. During this time I worked in Tennessee, England, and Germany. My specialties are working with teenagers, young adults, middle aged adults, and military personnel who are experiencing anxiety, depression, inner conflict, PTSD, low self-esteem, addiction, and/or relational issues.
