About
I love helping people become who they are meant to be. Oftentimes, past pains and traumas stand in the way of our own personal growth, but I believe change is possible for everyone, and have seen just how resilient humans truly are. One of the most wonderful parts about being a therapist is sitting with a person who feels so broken, holding that pain with them, and creating a space for healing. I am here to work together with you to resolve these past issues so that you can shed the weight of pressures that have been placed upon you, and help you live the life you want to live. Clients often come to me to find meaning and purpose again in life after experiencing challenges and traumas relating to faith transitions, trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, interracial relationships, women’s issues, divorce, anxiety, depression, and grief. I offer a collaborative, safe space to explore these issues together. I attended college in Utah, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Human Development and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. Throughout my education, I have focused the majority of my research on how faith transitions in and out of Mormonism affect the individual as well as the family unit, multicultural individuals and families in Utah, and the impact fathers have on the family unit. Past research, I decided to become a therapist because I truly love helping people through the hardest moments in their life. Outside of work, you might find me at a farmer’s market, trying a new restaurant with my husband, taking my dog for a walk, planning some time back to California to visit family, or curled up on the couch reading a good book.
