I have been providing counseling services for thirteen years. My sole focus initially is to build a solid therapeutic relationship, as I see trust and acceptance as crucial for meaningful counseling work. We have to feel comfortable being completely honest in counseling and I understand that takes rapport building and time. I am an intensively trained Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapist and I will always utilize DBT skills in counseling services. I have also been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma work, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Common Elements Treatment Approach (CETA).
