Hi there, my name is Alyssa Gonzales and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist in the state of New Mexico. I have 6 years of professional work experience ranging from psychiatric hospital, adult outpatient, to my most current school social worker setting. I have experience and knowledge in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, family conflicts, & parenting issues. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as treatment modalities, I work from a humanistic, strengths based, client centered approach. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
