I am a passionate and compassionate individual that strives to understand others struggles without judgment or feelings of unimportance. I am a survivor of domestic violence and 30-years clean from substance use. I worked at a crisis center that answered for The National Suicide Prevention Hotline and The Veterans Crisis Line, among other crisis lines for 2-years. I have a BA in Psychology with a minor in Christian Counseling and Specialty in Crisis Counseling. I am very comfortable working with populations struggling with suicidalology. I have a MS in Professional Counseling and am Certified as a Addictions Informed Professional. I am currently working toward certifications in Grief Counseling and Trauma, all of which I have experience and am very comfortable working with individuals struggling in these areas. I am currently responsible for one of the agency's mental health office in which I am the Clinical Supervisor and LPC. I am also over the Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient program for one of our offices and I not only do Clinical Assessments for Intensive in-home, Mental Health Skills, Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient but also Partial Hospitalization Program. I train my staff to go into homes and work with children and youth that are at risk of out-of-home placement as well as many of my staff also provide services for Mental Health Skills services and I am the direct Clinical Supervisor to the Certified Substance Abuse Counselors.
