Hey there! My name is Alyssa. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LMSW) in Michigan. I earned both my undergraduate and Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University (Go Green!). I have experience in helping clients with LGBTQ+ issues, relationship issues and intimacy related issues. I am especially passionate about serving LGBTQ+ folks and women. Additionally, I have extensive training in providing therapy to individuals and families experiencing grief and loss.

I utilize humanistic psychology, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness skills to help people increase their motivation and improve their self-esteem and confidence. I enjoy incorporating creative modalities into therapy, such as art, music, poetry and writing. I utilize a non-judgmental and warm approach to create a space where you can be yourself and feel heard. I look forward to helping you reach your mental health goals!
