Alyssa Boinais is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Bachelors and Master's degrees in Social Work from Wayne State University. She has experience working with depression, trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders. While she has experience working with many different populations, she works best with women ages 16 years old and older who are struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, and life transitions. She conducts therapy with a strength-based, client-centered approach while utilizing evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, trauma-informed interventions, exposure response prevention, and mindfulness techniques. Her goal is to provide clients with compassion and support while they create healthy boundaries, learn to manage emotions, cope with stressors, increase self-awareness, achieve their goals, and build confidence in themselves.
