I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC from Mississippi, but residing in Texas. I completed my undergraduate studies in Educational Psychology at Mississippi State University and completed graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health at Jackson State University.
I have an easy going personality, but does not mean that I am not passionate about what I do. I have served in mental health for over 10 years. In that time I have been Alcohol and Drug Prevention Specialist for 4yrs, Case Manager for 5years and Counselor for 2years. In my experience I have worked with individuals diagnosed with ADHD, Schizoaffective, Bipolar, and Depression. I have a person centered approach utilizing a combination of motivational interviewing, and CBT to help gain insight to the presenting issue.
I understand that that being vulnerable to others can be hard, so I do my best to meet you where you are and respect you the way you see fit during this process.
