I am a mother, an interdisciplinary artist, and a Depth Psychology-Intergrative Therapy and Healing Practices Ph.D. candidate. I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field working with people experiencing mild to severe symptoms. My experience includes crisis intervention and providing psychotherapy in a board-and-care facility, partial hospitalization programs, inpatient programs, and outpatient services. I provide a holistic and trauma-informed perspective that strengthens the mind-body-soul connections to improve mental, emotional, and physical wellness. I integrate a decolonial approach to bring awareness to systemic and intergenerational traumas that affect people in the BIPOC community. As part of decolonizing therapy, I integrate ancestral healing practices and encourage my clients to explore their own ancestral lineage.
