Hello, and congratulations! You've taken the first step to invest in the hope of a better life for yourself. While that may sound lofty, it's just what you're doing! This effort takes a lot of courage, strength, and sometimes getting out of our own way. I believe that we all have the ability to construct our lives so that we can experience frequent joy, ongoing fulfillment, and wholeness. Approaching your therapy needs from a strengths perspective means that I will be introducing you to the strength you have within yourself that can be enhanced to affect change in your life.

I have a masters degree in clinical social work, and work as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I have practiced clinical social work for the past 10 years, working with a diverse population of clients including individuals experiencing homelessness, veterans, patients in a medical setting, and private practice therapy clients. The commonality in these patients is they all needed tools and a helping partner in order to feel better. Your journey in therapy is a very personal one. My goal as your partner is to creatively use the resources learned from my practice experience to implement one or several of the following theoretical approaches to therapy: cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT), psychotherapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma informed therapy, and mindfulness practice.

From me you can expect a warm, non-judgmental, open minded clinician who will work to wholly understand your therapy needs; a pragmatic yet emotionally intelligent communication style; and my full presence in helping you meet your therapeutic goals.
