Nice to meet you, my name is Allison Konovalova. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist that has many years of experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, addiction, and personality disorders. Whatever the reason you are seeking therapy, I am here to walk the path with you in a way that makes you feel comfortable and safe from the start. Whether you are a member of a recently blended family trying to find ways to build connection, having difficulties due to mental health issues, or a single person who has the tendency to end up with emotionally unavailable people, I can help you identify thoughts and behaviors that may be holding you back. I specialize in working with clients with relationship problems; whether in individual, couples or family therapy. If you've tried to fix ongoing issues within yourself and/or your relationships without avail, help is here! I enjoy teaching mindfulness skills, CBT and DBT to help clients overcome anxiety and low self-esteem to increase self-confidence. I utilize a holistic approach (mind, body, spirit), and enjoy working with clients to empower them to find the solutions they need within themselves using a systemic approach. Therapy is a collaborative, transformative experience and the benefits from the therapeutic relationship can be lifelong. I have found that the potential for growth and change is unlimited with the right support at the right time.
