I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California (#108104) and I am excited to offer a supportive therapy environment to clients in need. I have experience treating adults, teens, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, emotional regulation issues, trauma, PTSD, and life stressors. I have worked in a variety of settings throughout my career, including a residential setting for teenagers, in homes supporting youth and families in the foster system, and in a group practice seeing individuals and families on an outpatient basis. I have helped clients process past traumas and adverse events, develop coping skills, overcome crisis situations, manage transitional phases of life, and improve family dynamics. I work to create a non-judgmental, nurturing space where clients can explore and heal with a combination of support and practical feedback. My goal is for clients to explore, grow, and heal in order to gain awareness, increase their ability to be present, and live more fully. I am a collaborative therapist who believes you are the expert in your own life and I am the guide who can help you move towards your goals. I primarily utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) when working with clients. I am also trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), mindfulness skills, solution-focused therapy, and family systems.
