My name is Allen Roberts, and I am a Licensed Social Worker. I have a history of working with clients from ages 6 to 65 years old; however, I have the most experience with ages 14 through 25. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the person-centered and strengths-based approaches. I firmly believe that the client is the expert on themselves, and my role is to collaborate with the client to help them reach their goals and improve their overall wellbeing. I strongly believe in using a non-judgmental approach and empowering people to make positive changes in their lives. I use evidence-based interventions including Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. I have extensive experience in working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. I have worked with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate depression, anxiety, conflict resolution, self-esteem, work-related issues, coping with chronic conditions, grief/ loss, and LGBTQIA+ issues.
