About
I have worked with children, adolescents, and families in numerous roles over the last seven years. I graduated with my MSW from the Joint Master of Social Work Program with NCA&T and UNCG. I received my BA in Psychology and Criminal Studies from Salem College. I specialize in providing trauma-based therapy to help clients find peace and serenity in the middle of many storms life can bring. My goal is to help clients understand that you change how you respond to your environment when you cannot change your setting. I attempt to do this by teaching mindfulness, grounding, and other relaxation techniques in fun, interactive, and collaborative ways. These skills can help with anxiety, depression, and PTSD symptoms and improve sleep, concentration, focus, and overall mood.
