Hi! My name is Alicia Landrum, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I am here to help you have the life you have always wanted! Difficult experiences in life can bring up feelings of anxiety, depression, or lack of direction, it can be hard to know what to do. With compassion and honesty, I will help you to work through issues while identifying your inner strengths to be a happier and healthier version of yourself. I describe myself as compassionate and understanding. I look forward to taking the journey of healing with you My approach I utilize motivational interviewing skills, solution focus, grief therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and reality therapy. My focus I enjoy working with adults and young adults that may struggle with anxiety, depression, stress management, self-care, self-esteem issues, anger, and substance use. My communication style I create a warm caring environment that is nonjudgmental. My journey to mental healthcare I enjoy helping others and them reaching their goals in life. My goals for you I approach with empathy, comfort, warmth, and focus on the client's needs. My first session with you I provide an introduction to therapy, discuss concerns/issues, develop goals, and discuss steps to take.
