I am licensed in Virginia with 8 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, lgbt-related issues, & trauma and abuse. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.


My approach is tailored to your needs and what is most effective for YOU. There is no "one-size-fits-all" in therapy and self-growth. I draw upon Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) primarily. I also incorporate Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, and Solution-Focused elements. We will work together as a team to discover new ways of thinking and being that enable you to cope with stress, build confidence, and overcome past suffering.


My professional experience has included work with children, families, and adults, in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I also have extensive experience working with those struggling with addiction and their loved ones, from a nonjudgmental and supportive therapeutic stance.
