About
I achieved my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and my Master in Marriage and Family Counseling from Adler University in Chicago. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I have attained my undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University, majoring in Biology with Chemistry and Psychology minors. I have been working in mental health for the past 15 years. I have various experiences serving a diverse clientele ranging from children to seniors. I have provided counseling in community mental health, shelter services for DCFS, SASS, the YESS Program in Joliet High Schools, substance abuse, trauma, crisis assessment, and post-hospitalization counseling. I have worked with incarcerated men and forensic clients. My experience in the private practice has allowed me to work with individuals, couples, families, teens, LGBTQ, and seniors. I have provided group therapy in parenting skills, addiction, and anger management. I am non-judgmental and take a holistic approach to help individuals with life-changing and life-long issues. I am a lifelong learner, and we are always becoming. This is my third life career. Before becoming a licensed therapist, I began working in business and customer service as a stay-at-home mom and volunteer. I look forward to the opportunity to meet and work with you.
