Alice Sorensen is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, practicing psychotherapy with creative arts influences and interventions. She received her Masters of Science in Music Therapy at Molloy College. She has experience working with adults encountering depression, anxiety, interpersonal problems, self-esteem issues, and trauma. Together you will talk about what matters to you, and process it by exploring through music. If you just want to talk, that's okay too! She loves being a psychotherapist with a variety of modalities because people can feel safe and supported in exploring, processing, and validating their emotions and experiences verbally and/or through music therapy. Interventions may include songwriting, lyric analysis, or imagery. Please note that due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, Alice will be conducting telehealth sessions through Zoom. This includes intakes as well.
