Do you feel that you are struggling? Are you trying to heal from past experience? Are you anxious? Hello there! My name is Alexis. I primarily worked with substance use problems, anxiety, depression, women's issues, and teens. I am open to adolescents, young adults, adults, and older folks! I have some formal training in trauma informed ACT and CBT. I also am a level 1 therapist with training on the Gottman theory of relationships. My passion is working with people struggling with addiction, family of those struggling, domestic violence, and helping people through life transitions. I'm excited to start this journey together! I hear and see you. I believe that mental health should be considered a critical part of one’s overall health and well- being. If someone is suffering mentally, their issues should never be overlooked or minimalized. I am dedicated to ensuring that I create a positive impact on my client's lives. I believe in people using creative methods to express themselves and finding passions that benefit their mental health. I do not believe in judging others, as I have an open mind and love to get to know the "real" side of people. We will laugh, we will cry, and we will work on your life goals to get closer to true happiness!
