Hello, I'm Alexis. Have you had difficulty coping with health changes of your own or of a loved one's? I focus my practice on helping clients process the psychosocial stressors that come along with serious and/or terminal injury/illness. This includes from the time of diagnosis to the grief faced after death. I can also help assist with grief work for life changing events that are not related to death. We, as humans, also grieve things like divorce, losing a job, adjustment after moving away to college, etc. I specialize in helping clients with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and adjustment disorder. I currently am seeing adult clients for individual counseling. Seeking therapy can feel intimidating to some. I intend to create a safe, open space so growth and healing can be possible.
