I am a licensed clinical therapist with ten years of experience in counseling, health/life coaching, and health education. In my work, I have helped individuals through a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, abuse, and health and lifestyle concerns. My particular expertise is working with people with diabetes, weight-related issues, and other health concerns.

I am also a certified diabetes care and education specialist, certified health education specialist, and certified mental health integrative medicine provider. I have worked in many settings, including community health, outpatient diabetes and nutrition education, transition care clinics, primary care clinics, bariatrics and weight-loss clinics, and private practice.

My therapy style is compassionate, collaborative, and outcome-focused, meaning my objective is always to help you find relief for your struggles and/or results in your goals. As an integrative mental health provider, much of my work involves strategies that promote both mental and physical health as we know these are uniquely connected. However, I always work with you to tailor an individual treatment plan and approach that meets your needs. We are a team :) Cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based and solution-focused approaches are fundamental to my work as well.
