My goal as your therapist is to create a safe space in order for you to explore your own emotional experiences; to identify how past trauma, relationship dynamics, and experiences have led you to the place you are now. This may come as a surprise – but there is nothing wrong with you. Behaviors that you created at a time in your life to keep yourself safe are simply no longer serving you.

I believe in social work, social and systemic change, and effective therapy. When you meet with me you will find that I feel passionately about therapy and the therapeutic process. Research is clear that the relationship between us is the most important part of the healing process and that the dynamic and trust that we create in the therapy office is what allows for exploration of the things that you have in your life that are no longer serving you.

My specific experience is with CBT and mindfulness. I believe that it is not only important for us to think about ourselves in our environment differently, but to also learn to keep our bodies safe. I specialize in trauma and am LGBTQIAA+ and sex worker allied as well as poly/non-monogamy and non-traditional relationship allied and informed.
