I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has experience working with domestic violence survivors, the LGBTQ community, gender issues, addiction disorders, personality disorders, and grief counseling. I practice a solution focus, person-centered approach. In a judgement free space, I use a non-authoritative approach that allows clients to take more of a lead in discussions so that, in the process, they can discover their own solutions. I utilize a compassionate approach, listening and acknowledging the client’s experience. I am present to encourage and support the client and to guide the therapeutic process without interrupting or interfering with the client’s process of self-discovery.
