Hello! I am a licensed professional counselor and have been working in counseling for 10 years! I graduated from the University of Texas Pan American in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I began academic counseling/coaching in 2011 and waited until 2014 to return for my masters degree. I attended the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and obtained my Master of Arts in Psychology in the fall of 2017. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since the fall of 2018. I have worked with clients aged 2-90 years old with a multitude of presenting issues such as bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, family problems/dysfunction, schizophrenia, personality disorders, ADHD, and relationship and family issues, to name just a few. My experience is varied as I have provided: group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy in inpatient setting, and private practice setting. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and family dynamics. I have also worked with individuals who are facing career/academic and life stressors. My main focus is to meet my client where they are at with acceptance and non judgement to use an approach that will work best for us as we work toward meeting your therapy goal. With my experience I truly believe I can help youths, adults, and families heal their relationships and work through the struggles they face.
