Thank you for taking the time to review my professional biography: I have my Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D) at Pepperdine University and my Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW), and Public Administration (MPA), at California State University, Long Beach. I have over 15 years of clinical experience across a variety of settings including outpatient specialty clinics, Forensic inpatient, crisis intervention, Crisis Negotiations, structured outpatient programs, inpatient psychiatric, large nonprofits, and private practice. In addition, I have taught graduate social work courses at California State University, Los Angeles. I have also provided clinical and administrative supervision to social work students, interns, and professionals. Along with a broad range of clinical experience working with individuals, families, and groups. Furthermore, my approach emphasizes the mutual development of goals for therapy and the provision of ongoing evaluation of the therapeutic approach. Services can include individual, couples, family, and group therapy across the lifespan. My training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Anger-Management, Domestic Violence, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Crisis Intervention. At the same time, I continue to seek ongoing updates to his skills and knowledge base. I am invested in an approach emphasizing a more integrative, dynamic, and holistic approach to mental health services. With particular concerns with the impact of loss, trauma, and improving intervention to support trauma recovery for better emotional, physical, and relationship health.
