Welcome! Whatever has brought you to Find A Therapist, I am so glad you are here. Here is a bit about me to help you decide if I am a good match for the therapy you seek.

For the past 5 years, I have worked as a Master's level counselor in private practice. I am currently licensed in both Wyoming and Colorado, and also maintain credentialing with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). My approach to counseling is client-centered, meaning I focus on your goals, preferences, and needs to apply techniques and therapeutic approaches that will help you best. A lot of my techniques are based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Sytems (IFS), and trauma informed care (adverse childhood experience, targeted traumatic experiences and memories, grounding techniques, etc.).

Each client I have worked with comes with a unique story and set of circumstances. With that in mind, much of my work has focused on helping individuals with anxiety, depression, communication strategies, social skills, sexuality and sexual behaviors, existential beliefs, relationships and interpersonal effectiveness, sleep disturbance, stress, values identification and making meaning from life's various challenges.

My personality is non-judgmental and supportive. I am very interested in helping create safe space to explore and express what happens within and outside of ourselves. I believe humor is healing and try to incorporate levity where possible. At the same time, I am respectful and believe in the importance of thoughts, beliefs, and feelings.
Ultimately I believe everyone has the power to heal, and I would be honored to walk with you in that work.
