My approach is centered on your goals and what you want to accomplish. I am here to listen and to support you with empathy and compassion. I believe in the importance of collaborating together to build upon your strengths. In my practice, I integrate the use of CBT, DBT, psychodynamics, attachment theory, interpersonal dynamics, existential exploration, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. By thinking and talking about our thoughts, feelings, and actions, we have the ability to guide our wellbeing and mental health. My aim as your counselor is to help you to feel empowered to better manage difficult thoughts, feelings, situations, and symptoms.
