Aloha and welcome. I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in Hawaii. I am also a SYMBIS Facilitator.
We are all on a journey called life, and on this journey, there are times when we need the help of others. I have spent the past few years helping people on their journey. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families, allowing them to deal with various challenges. These challenges range from anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting, PTSD, religious issues, substance abuse, and addiction.
I believe you are the expert of your story and have many God-given strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. My approach to counseling is using psychology and family systems theory (i.e., cognitive-behavior therapy, solution-focused, and psychoeducation) integrated Christian-based values, and using your strengths to help address your challenges.
