I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with 5+ years of experience working with individuals. I have worked with clients that have experienced trauma and ptsd. I have worked with clients that have experienced issues such as; anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues/conflict, sexuality and many more. I believe that the heart of therapy is the therapeutic relationship which consists of creating a safe judgment free environment accepting of individuality and the culture/heritage of the clients.
My approach to counseling is to meet an individual where they are and come alongside them in their journey. I have a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but draw on other therapy modalities such as Solution-Focused, Mindfulness and others to meet each clients individual therapy needs.
