Hi and Welcome. My name is Aimee Kile. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana. I worked in the counseling field for almost 8 years. I have worked in multiple different field areas including inpatient psychiatric facility, medication assisted substance abuse treatment and outpatient mental health services. I have worked with ages 6 to over 70 yrs old treating a multitude of issues including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Anger management, opiate additions and other mood disorders. I approach therapy from a person centered approach and meet you were you are. I want to develop a trusting relationship with you and help guide through any current struggles and over-come them in a way that is most beneficial to you. I use a multitude of different therapy techniques from a wide range of treatment modalities as I feel this allows for more options for success.
My counseling style is warm, interactive, supportive with the primarily goal of helping you succeed and improve in life. I tell all my clients that counseling will take you as far as you want the journey to go. I enjoy being able to help everyone succeed in their life journeys and there is no set time or specific process to take. I look forward to meeting with you and helping navigate your journey to come out successful.
