My name is Adrienne Parker-Morano. I am a licensed psychotherapist MFC39605. My focus of practice is as a Relationship Counselor/Sexuality Specialist. I specialize in sexuality; spirituality; communication; truth telling; and alternative relationship styles such as polyamory. I am LGBTQIA affirmative. My continuing education focuses primarily on sex therapy, communication, and all aspects of relationship. My approach I practice a very eclectic therapeutic approach based on client need. I am mindfulness based, client centered and multiculturally sensitive. My focus I work well with individuals and couples. I specialize in relational work, communication and sexuality. My communication style I am warm, easy going, straight-forward, and non judgmental. I accept my clients as they are while calling it as I see it. My journey to therapy I have always been people and family centered, both family of origin and chosen family. I worked as a birth midwife for years and then as a substance abuse counselor and domestic violence counselor before I entering private practice and a psychotherapist. My goals for you My focus on goal setting is client centered. I enjoy guiding my clients into greater self awareness and clarity as they seek solutions to their problems and explore options to experience more happiness and meaning in their lives. My first session with you First sessions like all sessions, are client centered while I'm open to inquiries about myself, and my practice/experience. I focus on clarifying a client's purpose for seeking therapy, the issues they want to address, and the outcomes they would like to obtain.
