About

Hi, I’m Adrienne Haladyna! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor working in central Texas since 1998. I enjoy providing therapy to adults, helping them realize their own strengths and move from that “stuck” place to seeing options and ways to move forward. My approach My role is to provide a space where clients can feel comfortable, express themselves honestly, and form a working partnership to achieve their therapy goals. My approach is based on recognizing how our beliefs can influence emotions. I also believe that all people have within them the means for growth and that experiences in childhood and the past can influence how we approach the present. Typical issues that I work with include life transitions, depression, self-esteem, work stress, and anxiety. My focus I have worked with clients in the community and clinic settings for around 20 years. My general focus is empowerment and improved self-esteem, and I enjoy working with adult clients who are looking for change in their lives and getting "unstuck." Typical issues that I work with include life transitions, depression, self-esteem, work stress, and anxiety. My communication style Sessions with me are relaxed but thoughtful conversations that can sometimes use humor when appropriate. I will listen carefully to your concerns and ask questions to help you clarify your thoughts and examine things from different perspectives. I will encourage you to notice your strengths and to appreciate what you accomplish. I will also help you to consider various options and see solutions you may not have considered. My journey to therapy I have always found it interesting to talk with people and have meaningful conversations. After hearing about the benefits of therapy from many sources, I decided to look into it. What keeps me continuing to provide therapy is the look on clients’ faces when they have a flash of insight or realization. I love being part of the process for them to make connections to make their own live
