Hello! I’m so glad that you’re here. My name is Adrian! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been happily working in the counseling field for 20 years now! Looking back on my childhood memories I can remember popping out the lenses on my sunglasses and carrying around a clipboard. I would pretend to play that I myself was a counselor! This love and compassion for helping people stretched out to my middle school and early high school years. When I grew a little older, I went after higher education. Veering off the path, I ended up earning a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University. I went on to almost become a police officer but ended up becoming a youth mentor. It was after that I discovered my true passion really is helping people and that being a counselor would be the best way for me to go about that! I have a true passion for my job and genuine compassion for every single one of my clients.
