I am a bilingual (Spanish), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My primary focus is to help promote change for personal growth and healthy self-esteem. My goal is not just to get you through this tough time in your life but to also help you develop ways to be better able to handle things in the future. I provide therapeutic counseling services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families as a Marriage, Family, and Child Counselor. I have worked as a County Social Worker for Child Protective Services, as a Foster Care Social Worker for children placed in the legal system as wards of the court (foster care, juvenile detention, and adoption services), as well as a Mental Health Case Manager for ‘mentally ill psychiatric’ adult populations. These experiences have helped educate others by sharing knowledge and understanding human behavior. I assist people in gaining awareness by understanding the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Providing this insight helps to assess and re-evaluate how you can change your direction by considering your patterns, options, and choices. By encouraging you to explore those concerns that have become barriers, you can bring about the life changes you want to make.
