My ideal client is one who has been taught through life's experiences that they don't matter or they are not important. My ideal client has not been able to express themselves and has repressed emotions. My ideal client is afraid of rejection, unable to be assertive, and experiences the cycle of anxiety and depression that results from emotional neglect, traumatic experiences, and/or boundary issues. My ideal client is looking for a way to stop the cycle of depression and anxiety. They want to learn to express themselves without fear of rejection. They want to learn to move forward in a healthy manner. I will start by helping you identify the issue and then work with you to work toward your individualized goals. Because I specialize in the Person-Centered Approach, I will work collaboratively with you. You will be in the driver's seat, and I will be a passenger, traveling with you on the road to recovery and wellness. Everyone experiences mental health and emotional disturbances at some point in their lives. One of the worst parts about these disturbances is that most people suffer alone because they believe they are outliers or alone. I am here to tell you that you do not have to suffer alone. You can take charge of your life. Therapy is work. I will work alongside you to develop the tools needed so that you may feel empowered to make the necessary changes in your life.
