I’m Adena, a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed in Arizona and Georgia with 7 years of professional work experience. It takes great courage to take that first step in seeking help and I commend you for reaching out!
I have experience helping people with a wide range of issues from addiction to trauma to eating disorders, to depression and anxiety. My passion is to help people find healing and meaning in their lives. I believe each person is a unique masterpiece that can get faded and muddied by life. I see my job as a therapist like that of an art restorer who comes in and helps restore that masterpiece to it’s original brilliance.
I strive to create a safe, welcoming, warm environment where the therapeutic relationship is of the utmost importance. Within the context of that relationship, I combine a wide range of therapeutic approaches from cognitive behavioral therapy to dialectical behavioral therapy, to internal family systems to solution focused therapy. I will tailor my approach to meet your unique needs and cater to your unique soul.
