Hello! My name is Adeline Thompson and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. I have worked in the social services field for over 10 years, working with older adults, caregivers, veterans and military personnel. I have worked with clients who have trouble adjusting to life changes, challenges, depression, anxiety and stress. In my practice, I am client-centered and will follow where you lead me, I also like to use cognitive behavioral therapy interventions. I believe that our thoughts impact how we feel and think and if we can learn to change our thoughts into positive ones, we are on our way to feeling better. In our sessions we are partners and will work together to help solve your problems. You are the expert of your life and situations and I am just here to help you facilitate being the best you that you can be.
