Abby is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes in the importance of building a trusting strength-based therapeutic relationship. Abby has been certified in Motivational Interviewing. Abby also utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness and Nature Therapy. Abby utilizes a biopsychosocial spiritual model of therapy which includes taking a look at core beliefs about self and considering how these beliefs impact current and past relationships and views on spirituality and/or one's moral compass. Abby is passionate about providing a safe non-judgmental space for clients to address challenges and to build upon client strengths. Abby utilizes a value-based approach to movement towards goals. Abby understands the importance of spiritually as it relates to mental (and physical) health. Abby respects client self-determination. Abby is available to help guide clients in the direction the client would like to go while addressing inconsistencies and potential barriers, as well as celebrating successes along the way. Abby is known to be kind-hearted, warm, genuine, authentic and sensitive. Abby has the necessary credentials and experiences to address various problem areas including the following: Anxiety, depression, parenting, history of childhood trauma, and spiritual trauma.

Abby is an outdoor enthusiast currently residing in Flagstaff AZ. When not at work, she is often found hiking, backpacking, fly-fishing and spending time with her family.
