Abe is trusted for his authentic ability to create a space where clients feel safe to develop self-awareness, move towards reaching their goals, and make meaningful change in their lives and relationships. Abe values evidenced based methods, such as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and is passionate about the mind-body connection and the impact of one’s early life experiences and cultural background. Abe holistically treats a wide range of individuals including adults experiencing difficulty with stress, relationships, sleep, identity, self-esteem, anxiety, mood disorders and challenging life events. Abe also has extensive clinical experience helping infants, toddlers and their parents who have been impacted by trauma and toxic stress, relationship and/or attachment problems, and post-partum depression and anxiety. He is highly effective in empowering parents to develop greater confidence, skill, and presence with infants and toddlers who have developmental, emotional or behavioral challenges. Abe grew up on the west coast of Australia where he was educated and licensed as a Psychologist. He has now found a home here in the PNW exploring the wilderness with his dog, snow-boarding, and drinking good coffee.
