About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor from Louisiana with over 6 years of counseling experience. Throughout my journey towards self-awareness, It has been an absolute privilege to have been given the opportunity to use the tools I have learned along the way and provide others with the support needed on their own journey towards change. 

I worked as a counselor in the private practice setting at The New Orleans Growth Center for about four years until 2017. I currently work as a counselor at Behavioral Health Group and have been there for about five years. I have had the benefit of working under many mental health and medical professionals and I am confident in my abilities for advising, collaborating, and problem solving. Throughout my time working as a professional counselor, I have been faced with the most challenging, yet rewarding, situations. My experience has shown what tremendous commitment to client care can do and has given me a deep understanding of mental health issues and their impact on clients and families. I am passionate about contributing my skills and knowledge to the online world and thrilled that you have taken this step towards achieving self-awareness and reaching your full potential. I cherish the therapeutic relationship as the root of trust and understanding from which change is built. 


I welcome diverse clients from various lifestyles and background. I work with clients battling with depression, anxiety, addiction, and coming out issues. I approach counseling from a collaborative perspective in which you and I work as a team. My style is empathetic and kind. Working from a non-judgmental place, I encourage my clients to accept who they are allowing them to continue growing and achieving goals that they have set. 

I meet my clients where they are, offering the guidance and support needed throughout their journey to the place they want to be enjoying their life today, with no focus on what was or what could be.
