Personal Statement
Do you experience life as being pulled in multiple directions? Life can be a juggling act between balancing our inner selves, relationships with our family and friends, and career/ educational aspirations and demands. This can cause a wide range of emotions and distress which can prevent you from reaching the life you want to experience. At Connecticut Integrative Counseling, I work together with clients to discover unique and effective strategies that integrate these different areas of their life so they can experience the life they envision.
Working through life, relationship, and career challenges can seem like a daunting task. Many times you may find yourself asking, where do I start? Working with a counselor, helps to prioritize your challenges and finding solutions to integrate your life in an honest, supportive, compassionate, and genuine environment. As a therapist, I utilize this varied and diverse skillset to promote integrative healing for individuals and couples, and my ability to approach an issue from many angles allows me to help you find a healthy work-life balance, relief from depression and anxiety, renewed faith in your marriage, and much more.
Being employed in human resource, education, and mental health settings for 18 years has given me a unique perspective of the challenges clients face. With blending my extensive education, trainings, and certifications with my work experience, I utilize a holistic approach and incorporate different therapeutic techniques to encompass all areas of a client's challenge.
