Personal Statement
As a somatic therapist who focuses on relational, attachment and childhood trauma issues I work with individuals and couples to address relationship ambivalence, anxiety, major life transition, depression, stuckness, poor communication and conflict, among other issues. I help with building awareness of one's thoughts, feelings and physical sensations to develop greater insight and uncover new choices.
My style is warm and direct. I am nurturing and supportive, yet I also call it as I see it. I foster the development of safety and trust in our therapeutic relationship, so that together we can explore and process what may be inaccessible or overwhelming to do alone.
My goal as the therapist is to help you find your own personal freedom, independence and learn to live a life of meaning and purpose. Our journey together can discover healing, understanding and self-growth.
