Personal Statement

Compassionate care is what I offer you. Whether you have individual hurdles to climb, relationship issues to tackle, family difficulties to face, or a child of yours needs extra support, I want to take you to a place of resolution and healing.

I specialize in trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), child and adolescent therapy, and relationship conflicts. I am trained to use special methods to help people remember, understand, face, and cope with their traumas and negative experiences. I can even work with newborns and very young children. If we don’t handle our conflicts and emotional barriers, we can make unhealthy decisions that affect us and our loved ones. Using eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) and Feeling State with EMDR, we can work together toward wellness.

In addition to these techniques, I also utilize sand play, mindfulness-based therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive arts, and other hands-on, integrated treatments. It would be an honor to be at your side during your process of healing and renewal.
