Personal Statement

I strive to help people set goals for all areas of their life and determine the action steps and resources needed to achieve those goals. Self-empowerment is my goal for you. You should be able to leave therapy empowered to manage your life in the way you desire.

My counseling philosophy is to look for the root cause of the problem and help you know the options you have to address and resolve the issue. I prefer not to address labels but the issue or behavior where change is needed. I use a variety of tools, depending on the desire of the client. This could be goal-setting, coaching, resolving emotions, a focus on behavior change, teaching thought control and change, resolving relationship difficulties, learning to communicate effectively, or helping you identify biblical principles that address your situation.
