Personal Statement

The first step to healing is acceptance. The unconditional acceptance we give our friends, or children, and hopefully ourselves, is what makes it safe to learn through our mistakes. Judgement leaves us traumatized and defensive and the learning is slowed and hindered. Come pick up new tools for practicing self acceptance which will free you to start again from where you are instead of spinning your wheels by getting stuck in 'shoulding' on your self.

I have studied meditation in India for several months and am a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I have utilized both ancient and modern techniques to empower, re-balance and enhance the well-being of clients.
