Personal Statement

I'm Paula Butler, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed/Certified Addiction Counselor and Clinical Supervisor. I passionately believe in the power of individual, couples and families to heal from the past, understand how unhealthy behavior, patterns and beliefs impact their lives and move forward.

For many of us life can be difficult. Whether it’s addiction, depression, relationship/family issues or just the fears and insecurities of life, we all have challenges and struggles we must face. Therapy is meant to be a safe place where we are able to find courage to walk through these struggles and to find real hope with practical help.

I work with adult individuals and couples. I am committed to providing clinically sound and empirically based treatment. My orientation is holistic and integrative, with an emphasis on couples therapy, women issues, addiction and co-occurring disorders.

We will not always, adhere to a strict sixty-minute session. If we're into something important we will honor that space and time. No need to stop on the spot. I encourage smiles, vulnerability and connection.
