Personal Statement

My approach to therapy includes providing a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere where you feel comfortable exploring issues that have become overwhelming. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker I will take a relational approach to our work together while providing you with useful tools to make realistic changes. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults. I have had success working with adolescents who are oppositional, dealing with self-esteem/identify issues, and dealing with anxiety and depression. I have experience working with trauma and related symptoms and am EMDR trained.

As a therapist my mission is to walk side by side you on your journey towards health and wholeness. Life presents us with many challenges and while we can't change negative situations from our past we will work together to gain insight and to resolve current challenges. By combining a variety of therapy approaches and techniques with a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere my hope is that you will feel comfortable exploring issues that have become overwhelming.
