Personal Statement
Life can be difficult when love, validation, and respect are missing. It can also be difficult when past traumas are left unresolved. I aim to help you resolve the challenges you are facing. Some issues I specialize in are depression and anxiety, relationship or family difficulties, and trauma. I will help you face your issues head on in order to get your life back. I'll remain empathic, understanding and supportive during your therapeutic journey and make sure I am with you every step of the way. We will continue to fine tune your treatment goals and achieve what it is you're seeking from therapy.
In addition to adults, I also work with children and teens (ages 7-18). Being a former teacher has allowed me to learn the needs of children and teenagers and to successfully communicate with them. If there is a lack of love, respect, and a breakdown of communication in your household, I will help rebuild unity, foster growth and teach healthy, effective communication between family members. In addition to this diverse range of clientele, I also work closely with the Iranian community and the LGBTQ community and have great insight about the difficulties faced specifically by these populations.
