Personal Statement

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) whose practice, Strategies For Life, LLC is located in Cartersville, Ga. I am committed to therapy work that focuses on assisting individuals, couples and groups, using mindfulness in conjunction with evidence based cognitive behavior therapies to resolve emotional distress, solve problems, create life balance and find fulfillment. I work with persons who want to improve their mental wellness or live more fully.

I am an affirming therapist who works with LGBTQ clients in resolving the unique challenges faced in rural Georgia. specializes in reconciling sexual and gender identity, coming out, commitment, marriage, family and faith with rural values and culture while seeking genuine expression of oneself.

My belief is that life is easier to manage and provides more fulfillment when we practice positive mental wellness strategies. I integrate the best of evidence based practiced and mindful strategies to help find you find balance in the modern world.

I am a seasoned professional with more than 20 years experience providing counseling to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, groups and teams in a variety of settings. My passion is to help people resolve the obstacles that prevent from enjoying their lives, family, friends and work.
