Personal Statement

For the past 30 years, I have practiced the art of psychotherapy, bringing healing, renewal, and balance to many. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor, who uses a variety of methods to aid in the therapeutic process. As managing director of Relax4Life, a holistic educational and services center, I provide workshops and training in many self-enrichment and holistic health fields.

My expertise lies within the practices of Reiki therapy. Not only do I practice it to provide healing for clients with life-changing diseases, but I am also a certified Karuna Reiki and Usui Holy Fire Karuna Master instructor. I am a certified Quantum Touch practitioner and instructor, and can offer this in educational services or individual sessions.

In addition to Reiki and private therapy, I also embrace labyrinth work. I helped ideate and create the Earth-Wisdom Labyrinth, an outdoor public resource, in Elgin. For optimal discovery and wellness, I utilize a variety of labyrinth practices, including fabric traveling, wood finger, outdoors, and my patented Intuipath labyrinth. Labyrinth counseling can help with a variety of issues, using a blend of medical, psychological, and spiritual resources.
